When I was in the Army, my parents would always send me the largest bucket of Mrs. Fisher's Chips. I would take it to gatherings because it helped me to break the ice in my new unit. Everyone loved them. After the chips were gone, I used the bucket as my mop bucket. When I became the boss of my own unit, I went to welcome a new soldier – she was mopping the floor with her very own Mrs. Fisher's bucket. I new she was from home or close by!

I am a school teacher on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, but I live in Colorado. I attended Whig Hill, Wilson and Auburn. Through my late teens and 20's I played nearly every night in local Rockford bands. My late night snack was ALWAYS Mrs. Fisher's Chips with an Uncle Nick's gyro. For the last 25 years I have always brought several bags back to Colorado with me, but rarely do they survive the trip. They are usually gone before I reach Kansas! After years of PLEADING, my mother sent me a large container this year shortly after Christmas. The lasted less than a week!
